The Mismeasure of Mentors

The April edition of "The Matthew's House Project" is up, and it includes a short essay from me about Robert Fritz's eulogy of Karlheinz Stockhausen, using Francis Schaeffer to teach Western Civ, and the one area in which Christians and Darwinists are actually pretty similar.

It's all connected by...well, here, go read it yourself.

Ver goot! You've summed up in much better fashion than I my thoughts about teaching WTC with Schaeffer. Thank you.

Thanks, Todd. I appreciate that coming from you because I know you (like I) do appreciate and respect Schaeffer's work for what it is and don't want to just bash it.

I totally told my girlfriend about "Will you love me as before, Master Hugh?" the other day.

Also, I talked about you in class today. My voice is pitched lower because I am tired and stressed and smoking, and I did an impression of your distinctive gravelly tone (which, of course, I miss dearly).
